Key differences to consider
If you're looking for a tracker with a powerful ring, the Chipolo ONE Point takes the lead. It boasts a 120 dB sound, making it easier to hear even if your keys are buried under a pile of laundry.
The Chipolo ONE is also a bit more budget-friendly than the Moto tag.
However, the moto tag supports Ultra-Wideband (UWB) technology. This allows for super-precise location tracking, which comes in handy when you’re trying to pinpoint the location of something without using a ringtone (for example in a noisy environment or tracking your pet…)
But there's a catch. You'll need a UWB-compatible Android phone, and this feature isn't fully active just yet. It's something to keep in mind for the future.

Functionalities
Both the Chipolo ONE Point and the Motorola moto tag support all the functionalities of Google's Find My Device app.
For example, you can use them to ring your misplaced items when they're hiding close by or tap into Google's worldwide Find My Device network to help locate your lost items far away.

The Moto tag also has its own app with a couple of extra features. When it’s connected to the Moto tag app, you can use it as a remote shutter button for your phone's camera or to ring your misplaced phone by double-pressing on the Moto tag.
Just keep in mind that you'll have to switch between the Moto Tag app and Google's Find My Device app if you want to use all these features.
Overall value
So, which tracker comes out on top?
Honestly, both the Chipolo ONE Point and the Motorola moto tag are solid choices for Android users. They're both reliable, affordable, and do a great job of helping you find your stuff.
Chipolo has been in the tracker game for a while now, and we're proud to design and manufacture our products in Europe.
If you're looking for ultra-precise tracking (once it's available), the moto tag with its UWB technology might be a better choice. Plus, it has some bonus features like the remote camera shutter and the ability to ring your phone in the Moto Tag app.
But if a loud ring is your priority, or if you need a slim tracker for your wallet, Chipolo Point trackers are the way to go.
