Retail Marketing Manager
Chipolo is looking for a Retail Marketing Manager!

Job description
Your work will be anything but boring. You will be the main link between different teams, from sales and marketing to design.
Your tasks will be a mix of strategy, creativity, and collaboration:
- Preparation of materials for our B2B partners: You will ensure that our distributors, sales representatives, and stores are equipped with top-notch product presentations, sales training materials (so they know how to sell our story and our product), and all visuals for their online catalogs.
- Key member of an independent development squad: You won't just be part of marketing. You will become part of an independent development group (you + a salesperson + a designer) responsible for developing a new potential sales channel: independent stores. You will have free rein for ideas, strategies, and activity development. Like a mini startup within the company!
- Collaboration with the wider marketing team: Your work, of course, won't happen in a bubble. Since communication channels are highly intertwined, you will be involved in the bigger picture: connecting retail with social media, email marketing, and our brand development.
- Help with organizing internal events: Because we aren't just colleagues, but a team, you will use your organizational knack to build our culture. You’ll jump in to help organize internal events – from relaxed picnics to themed New Year's parties. You’ll ensure we know how to take a moment and celebrate our wins!
- Work in the office, from home, and in the field: Your work will be dynamic – partly at the company HQ, occasionally from home (if you wish), and sometimes around the world. You can expect business trips approximately once every 2–3 months to visit major consumer electronics shows (Las Vegas, Berlin) and trade fairs for the independent store channel (Ireland, UK, Paris...), as well as research road trips to stores where we sell our products.

- Branding mindset: You understand that a brand is not just a logo, but a complete experience that is well thought out and designed based on company strategy.
- Broad perspective and tact: You know how to talk to designers about creative concepts and to salespeople about numbers, while finding solutions that satisfy both.
- Digital literacy: You understand the basics of online sales and the dynamics of social media. The short video format (TikTok, Reels, Shorts) is familiar to you, and you understand how to use it to support sales.
- Organization: You know how to prioritize and lead projects from idea to execution.
- Proactivity: You don't wait for instructions. When you see an opportunity or an issue, you act.
- Willingness to travel occasionally: You look forward to packing a suitcase every few months and changing your environment.
- Fluent English (spoken and written): Work takes place in an international environment, so we will be very happy if you also know an additional language.

Work takes place in a relaxed environment at the company headquarters in Trbovlje. We offer the possibility of occasional work from home. We encourage work at the headquarters, but we understand the impact of a daily commute on quality of life, so we adapt to individual needs. During the onboarding period, daily arrival at the office is crucial, as this allows us to create a strong connection with other team members and ensure successful knowledge transfer.
