Anniversaries are a great time to reflect on your accomplishments, and we couldn’t be prouder of ours.
It’s easy to sit back and look at everything we did right, but it’s even more important to remember we earned each win with great effort, and sometimes after a few fails.
We can’t believe 10 years have already passed since our Kickstarter campaign in 2013.
We’ve come a long way since, and we promise to keep the momentum going for the next 10 years to come!
Chipolo was built on friendship and enthusiasm and if there is one thing overall we are especially proud of, it is the fact that we were able to keep these core values alive and at the forefront for the entire decade of our existence.
Together, we’ve made these 10 years feel like a moment, and even more importantly, we built Chipolo into the success story it is today.
Would you start a company with your friends? We did and it was the best decision we ever made.
Chipolo is a local company built with family and friends who helped us turn Chipolo Bluetooth finders into a global brand with millions of users.
It gets a little messy. And loud sometimes. But it’s who we are and it's why Chipolo has been going strong since its beginnings.
Who knew there are so many ‘losers’ out there, looking for a smart little sidekick to help them find their things!
We started our journey simple, with one key finder to help you find your misplaced keys. It was great, but it wasn’t enough.
You wanted us to help you find your wallets, your bags, your TV remotes, and bikes. You wanted us to give you peace of mind even if your things got lost.
The Chipolo became the Chipolo CLASSIC, the Chipolo PLUS, and now, the Chipolo ONE.
We kept going and created the Chipolo CARD, a wallet tracker so thin it would fit into any wallet.
We added features that would make your search easier, like virtually sharing your Chipolo with others to give you more finding power, Out of Range Alerts that would remind you when you leave your things behind, and voice commands on Google, Alexa, and Siri, so you didn’t even need the Chipolo app on your phone.
We made the Chipolo louder, the battery life longer, and created a special edition of Chipolo ONE from recycled ocean plastic.
And then we took it a step further and created the Chipolo ONE Spot and Chipolo CARD Spot that work exclusively with the Apple Find My network. Now, hundreds of millions of friends in the Find My network can help you find your lost keys, wallet, or luggage.

We set out to find lost keys and so far, that’s been working out great for us as well as you - Chipolo helps people find more than 50,000 lost items every day!
In the last 10 years, we helped find things more than 13 million times and have helped find misplaced phones more than 8 million times.
But that’s not nearly enough. So, we created a special line of Chipolo finders – the Chipolo Spot finders and connected them to the Apple Find My network, the biggest network we could find. Now Apple users can find their things with Chipolo even when they’re truly lost.
And we’re not there yet; we want to make this possible for everyone, no matter what phone they are using.
What will the next 10 years bring?
Turning Chipolo into one of the top products in the finder market took talent and skill from every employee on our team. And sometimes a little bit of luck.

There’s plenty left on our to-do list to keep us busy in the next decade: making our finders autonomous in terms of charging, increasing the ringtone volume, improving and widening location accuracy and durability, and using more recycled materials to create environmentally friendly products.
It’s not glamorous, but it’s what will give our users the best experience possible — and that’s all that matters to us.
Our mission is to give every item the power to be found.
And there are many ways to do it, but one thing we are sure of - we can only do that together.
