My name is Bastiaan, and I’m Technical Support Manager at Chipolo. Sometimes I like to share my experiences with customers. This time I would like to share how Chipolo has helped Massimo from Italy find back his Chipolo with the community search from Chipolo.
On October 11th in the morning Massimo contacted me via live chat. Unfortunately, Massimo had lost his Chipolo and the last known location was close to his work. After some searching with the app opened it proved to be more difficult to find his lost valuable (keys) back. After trying the search steps, we concluded that we need to call in the help of the community, so I asked Massimo to click on ‘Notify when found’.
This has activated Chipolos Community search. Now there wasn’t much I could do to help further, either Massimo couldn’t do much more. So we waited, but we didn’t have to wait for long! After an hour Massimo contacted me back to let me know he has received an e-mail that his Chipolo was found and the location had been updated. So Massimo went with the Chipolo app opened to the place of his e-mail and shortly after that his App instantly connected to the Chipolo. Now it was only a matter of ringing the Chipolo and follow the sound: Welcome back keys!
