Whether you’re an Android phone user or an iPhone user, you will now get alerts about unknown Bluetooth trackers in your surroundings.
Google and Apple announced today that they achieved cross-platform user protections based on the DULT (Detecting Unwanted Location Trackers) specification aimed at enhancing user privacy and preventing unwanted tracking.
At Chipolo we are thrilled to support this initiative by implementing the required specifications in our Point finders, as the new standard further aligns with our values and reinforces our dedication to providing a secure and transparent user experience.
The alerts will be available to users with the official release of iOS 17.5 and will be enabled for all DULT specification-compatible Bluetooth trackers.
