Where, When And What We Lose The Most
Ever notice how you can never find your keys in the morning? Or your phone after dinner? Do you always find yourself searching for your TV remote over the weekend?
The evening before, take a few minutes and make a short list of what needs to be done, either on paper, on your phone or in your head (just make sure to memorize them all!). Then, start the next day prepared and go through the list when the opportunity presents itself.
And relax, even if you don’t make it all the way down through your list, at least you’ve shortened it a bit!
Plan your meals - you know best when you’ll get hungry. Take a few minutes in the morning (while you brush your teeth or on your way to work) and think about your schedule. This way, you can eat before you’re absolutely starved and running low on energy. How much time do you have available in-between? What food places will you have near you at the time?
And as an added bonus, it gives you an opportunity to maybe go for a healthier meal, instead of just running to the nearest fast food place.
It can be an empty cabinet surface, a shelf or a bowl, just make sure to keep it clutter free and only use it for items you always take with you when you go out the door. This way, your keys, your wallet, your phone and any other valuable you need daily will always be in the same place and ready for you to grab them as you go.
We’re not talking the regular cleanup of the entire apartment here. Just go through the place and put away anything you used during the day, but didn’t have time to put away. Dirty dishes, dirty clothes, your gym bag or makeup can all be straightened in a few minutes.
The pre-coffee morning you will be so thankful when it finds everything it needs in the right place again.
Don’t beat yourself up when you misplace something! Instead, work around the problem and use the Chipolo to ring and find your keys, wallet, kindle, your kid’s toy or your phone. Simply ring it, find it and be out the door in no time!
