The first step is always the hardest, so we prepared a few ideas that will get you on the right path to a happier more balanced you.

Family & friends

Set some time aside for family and friends and plan dates or activities with them. Reach out and talk to people you care about throughout the day, even if it’s short text messages. And when you do spend time with them, be present.

Unplug & do something fun

Put your phone down and stop checking your emails when you get home. Do something fun or creative instead. Read, watch a movie, do a little photography or have a bite with your friends. Give yourself something to look forward to.

Action plan

What is your goal? Prepare a weekly plan to help you achieve it and to manage your time effectively. Keep your motivation by breaking it down into daily tasks and your priorities will align themselves in the process.

Exercise & eat healthy

Start simple with stretching exercises or a walk, just get your body moving for at least 15 minutes a day. It will not only improve your physical state but your mental state as well. Supplement your exercise with healthy eating habits and drinking plenty of water. Plan your meals and keep healthy snacks around for when you have to skip a meal.

Time for yourself

Start your day with a few minutes for yourself. You can meditate or read a book or prepare yourself a nutritious breakfast or do yoga or even just breathe but do something to start the day off feeling calm and centred.

Sleep more

Getting between 7-9 hours of sleep is crucial. Set a bedtime for yourself, stick to it and you should feel the positive effects after a few days already. To make it a really good night’s sleep switch off your phone or computer 45 minutes before going to bed.
