Terms and conditions of Chipolo Easter hunt

    General regulations

    The organizer of the prize game "Chipolo Easter hunt" is the company Chipolo d.o.o.. The prize game takes place from February 28th to April 1st, 2024, on the website https://chipolo.net/. The prize game is not sponsored; all information provided by the user in the prize game is received by the organizer of the prize game (Chipolo d.o.o.).

    Conditions for participation in the prize game

    All visitors to the website who are 18 years old or older on the day of participation in the prize game can participate.

    Prize game rules

    Participants in the prize game must find four (4) Chipolo item finders hidden on the website among the Easter eggs. Each participant has seven (7) tries. If the user finds all the item finders, they have the opportunity to participate in the prize draw. The condition for participating in the draw is entering an email address.

    If the user does not find all the item finders, they have the option to try again. The number of retries is unlimited.

    Prizes, draw, and prize information

    Prize: Chipolo ONE 4-Pack worth €60/$60/£53/A$96/NZ$108

    Prize draw: Every Monday between March 4th and April 1st, 2024

    All five (5) winners will be notified of their win and prize collection via their email address provided for participation in the draw. Before handing out the prizes, the organizer must receive the necessary personal data from the winners within three (3) days after the announcement: name, address, telephone number, and email address. Providing all this information via email is a condition for awarding the prize to the recipient. The Chipolo item finder pack will be sent to you by mail within one (1) week after providing the required data. Cash prizes are not possible; prizes are not transferable, and prize substitution is not possible.

    Protection of personal data

    The participation of the participant in the prize game is considered as the individual's personal consent in accordance with the legislation on the protection of personal data, namely for the processing of all their personal data provided to the organizer for the purposes of the prize game. The participant agrees that the organizer of the prize game will store all the data obtained from the participant and process or use them for the purposes of conducting the prize game. The organizer undertakes that the data provided by the winners will not be handed over to third parties or otherwise used contrary to the legislation of the Republic of Slovenia unless necessary for the execution of the prize game.

    Tax payment

    Tax withholding for all prize recipients is calculated and paid by the organizer of the prize competition (Chipolo d.o.o.). Chipolo d.o.o. cannot transfer these obligations to other legal entities. Tax is not calculated and paid by the organizer of the prize competition only in the case when the prize recipient, in order to avoid double taxation, claims a tax exemption through a KIDO 8 form (in order for tax exclusion, the KIDO 8 form must be pre-approved).

    Responsibility

    The organizer assumes no responsibility and does not participate in disputes regarding the ownership of drawn prizes. All disputes related to ownership rights over the drawn prizes will not affect the rule that the organizer awards the prize to the person who has sent their data to the organizer in accordance with these rules. The organizer will hand over the prize to the user or their officially authorized person, whose details will be provided in the email received by the organizer from the winner. The organizer assumes no responsibility for any damage resulting from the receipt and use of the prize, to which the participants expressly agree by participating in this prize game. The organizer assumes no responsibility for the non-functioning or incomplete functioning of the participant's email and internet connection or the non-functioning of the service, which is the result of incorrect use or lack of knowledge of service usage. In case of circumstances beyond the control of the organizer (force majeure), the organizer may cancel the prize game. Participants must be notified of this through the email address the participant provided. In such a case, the organizer is not liable for any damage incurred.

    Rules of the prize game

    By participating in the prize game, participants confirm that they are familiar with these rules and undertake to comply with the rules of the prize game. In case of any dispute or ambiguity, these rules take precedence over any other publications, whether in print, electronic, or any other form. The rules and general conditions of this prize game are available at https://chipolo.net. The organizer reserves the right to change the rules if required by technical or commercial reasons or reasons on the part of the public. The organizer will inform participants of all changes and novelties in the prize game through announcements on the website https://chipolo.net/. All complaints and objections will be handled by the organizer of the prize game. In the case of justified complaints, the organizer undertakes to resolve them as soon as possible and notify the participant accordingly.
