Metabo's design team created the tracker's industrial design, ensuring it fits seamlessly into the toolbox's locking mechanism, while Chipolo defined the technical specifications, selected the optimal battery solution, and designed custom circuitry.

Chipolo further streamlined the process by providing comprehensive guidance on product and Apple-related certifications, ensuring a smooth path to market.

Additionally, Chipolo also took charge of the end-to-end manufacturing process, delivering the finished trackers ready for sale.

The Metabo and Chipolo collaboration yielded a versatile and powerful tracking solution that seamlessly integrates with Metabo's existing app and the Apple Find My network.

The tracker's attachment flexibility allows professionals to track their entire toolbox or just their individual tools, ensuring they can always check on their location.
