You know that one friend who’s always late because they can never find their things?

The founders of Chipolo have one too and it all started because of him.

Before Chipolo was even an idea, our founders would meet for pizza and beer on Saturday nights in the local pizzeria. And they would always have to wait for one of them who was constantly late because he kept losing his keys and phone.

Since they were all engineers, they passed the time by coming up with new original ways to solve his problem and came up with a simple solution – an app that works with a chip on his keys.

And just like that, Chipolo was born!

Fast forward 10 years, and we're still helping millions of people find their things the Chipolo way (and we're never late for pizza anymore!)

For us, Chipolo is more than just a finder.

It's a reflection of who we are as a team; a tight-knit group of friends, family members, and couples, who all share a passion for creating products that make life easier and more enjoyable.

Chipolo is a reminder to embrace the joy, fun, and laughter in the simple things, like finding your keys and spending time with the people you care about.
