But, while I’m no stranger to a pencil or a piece of paper, I am a champion when it comes to losing stuff. This year alone I lost my iPhone, my wallet and I almost lost the keys to my scooter.
A few days ago I went to my usual place where I draw portraits for tourists. I work from morning until dawn, I talk to people I meet and I focus on my drawings for 20, 30 minutes at a time. At the end of the day I started to clean my stuff when I notice my new, 3 weeks old Galaxy Note 4 is missing.
I remembered that beautiful thing that hangs from my scooters keys. A friend gave me a Chipolo for my birthday some months ago and I was too busy to really use it.
I tried my luck, shaking the Chipolo a few times, and there it was – a familiar ring. My phone was vibrating and ringing in my bag a few steps away. I was so focused on a caricature I was drawing that I completely forgot about moving my space to catch better light just half an hour ago.
I was saved by this wonderful gadget and I was so impressed with it that I went and bought 2 more. One for my apartment keys and one for my art bag.
